We at DogInMyPocket would like to wish everyone a wonderful Memorial Day as we take a pause from lol and simply reflect on those who gave everything for our freedom. Also a big thank you to all who serve. I found this photo on flickr and it said that it was a marine recruit’s dog. Looks like it was posted 2 years ago so he is a Marine now…I will see if we can see how he is doing.

Yep, Yoshi’s buddy is a US Marine now and is based in Okinawa, Japan. He and his fellow engineering battalion have recently returned from serving in the Al Anbar area of Iraq for 7 months. We are so proud of him and every memorial day and Veteran’s day means so much to us now with a son in the service of his country and fellow man. Thanks for featuring this photo on your blog.
